Hi I’m Megan McDermott! I’m a 5* International level Show Jumping rider and trainer, and in honor of the 2026 Lunar year being the year of the Fire Horse, I will be using this site to share about horse things!

This site started off as a way for me to share some of the things I’ve written up for my non-horse friends to help them understand the sport of ShowJumping - trying to help bridge the gap between the horse world and the real world, so to speak.

I’ve expanded into also publishing some of my own ideas, observations about the sport, interviews, art, and stories… all straight from the horse’s mouth.
