Hi I’m Meg McDermott! I’m a 5* International level Show Jumping rider and trainer, and in honor of the new Lunar year being the year of the Fire Horse, I will be using this site to share about horse things!

The idea for this blog started off as a way to explain my life to my non-horse friends to help them understand the sport of ShowJumping - trying to help bridge the gap between the horse world and the real world, so to speak.

I may also expand into publishing some of my own ideas, observations about the sport, art, and stories in time.
